Take One Champion

Youth engagement with the arts and heritage in partnership with the National Gallery

Project Aims

‘Take One’ develops the National Gallery’s Take One Picture model into an education programme for Key Stages 1, 2 and 3, using a single museum object as a rich resource for cross-curricular learning. Chosen by MLA and the National Gallery to be the southwest Champion, the project involved working with a wide variety of organisations across the region to tailor their learning offer to the needs of local schools.

Key Outcomes

This project allowed the development of a range projects for community museums, CPD days for teachers and museum professionals, resources for museums and schools as well as learning links projects across the southwest.
